Prayer to Blessed Mother Theresa

Gracious God, You offered the world a powerful example of Christian love in action through the words and deeds of BLESSED MOTHER TERESA of Calcutta.
She taught us how to faithfully serve Jesus by loving and caring for the least of our brothers and sisters. She devotedly fed the hungry, gently cared for those who were sick and dying, provided shelter for the homeless, and embraced needy children who were unwanted and forgotten.
Help me, O GOD, to imitate her love and compassion for others. Give me a charitable heart, that I may generously share your blessings, and care for Jesus today in the poor and less fortunate as MOTHER TERESA did. Amen

Mother Theresa's Prayer

Mother Theresa's Prayer

May today there be peace within
May you trust God that you are
Exactly where you are meant to be

May you not forget the infinite possibilities
that you are born of faith
May you use those gifts
that you have received,
and pass on the love
that has been given to you.

May you be confident
knowing you are a Child of God
Let this presence settle into your bones,
and allow you soul the freedom
to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
Amen

Prayer to Canonization and Intercession of Mother Theresa

Prayer to Canonization and Intercession of Mother Theresa

Jesus, you made Blessed Theresa and inspiring example
of firm faith and burning charity, an extraordinary witness
to the way of spiritual childhood, and a great and esteemed teacher
of the value and dignity of every human life.
Grand that she may be venerated and imitated
as one of the Church's canonized saints.
Hear the requests of all those who seek her intercession,
especially the petition I now implore...

(mention here the favor you wish to pray for).

May we follow her example in heeding Your cry of thirst from the Cross
and joyfully loving You in the distressing disguise of the poorest of the poor,
especially those most unloved and unwanted.
We may ask this in Your name and through the intercession of Mary,
Your Mother and the Mother of us all.

Amen
