The Christmas Novena - Day 2

Today, let's pray for all expectant mothers. Let's pray especially for those who feel pressured to have an abortion. They need so much love and support. Let's pray that they may receive the love and support that St. Joseph provided Mary despite there being no room at the inn. Here are the prayers for today:

We're almost done! I want you to pray for yourself.    Not to alleviate your own suffering. We all pray for that all the time :)    Let's pray for the willingness to suffer for the sake of coming closer to Jesus. That is, for holiness.    I want you to pray and ask that God make you a Saint.   This is the most important thing.    It's more important than healing, more important than money, more important than everything because by being holy, you will gain everything in Christ.    How are you to be holy?    Christ gave us two great commandments. Love God. Love others as you love yourself.    It's not easy. Love requires sacrifice. We must be willing to sacrifice. The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is an important day for us to reflect on the Blessed Virgin Mary's life. Her life is the ideal example of the Christian life lived for God. Christ the King Novena - Day 8

The Feast of Christ the King was created during a time when the world was becoming increasingly nationalistic and secular. Not too much has changed. Pope Pius XI responded to the times, and wrote, "While nations insult the beloved name of our Redeemer by suppressing all mention of it in their conferences and parliaments, we must all the more loudly proclaim His kingly dignity and power, (and) all the more universally affirm His rights." Happy Feast of St. Jude! Thank you for joining us in praying through his intercession for impossible causes!   Here at Pray More Novenas, at the end of every novena, we always pray the following as our final prayer.

Let us pray... Dear Lord Jesus, I have specific requests that may only partially fill the infinite needs and desires that are in my heart.
